Reflexology

 

Reflexology is an Ancient Egyptian and Chinese technique used to clear stress and blockage in the body. By applying pressure to certain reflex points on the hands and feet, that are linked to organs in the body. Reflexology helps to alleviate stress, blockages and promotes circulation of blood. Reflexology also helps rid the body of harmful toxins and brings the body back to its equilibrium; naturally.

During treatment, you will only need to remove shoes and socks, as the practitioners will only be working on the feet. Alternatively, if the feet are too sensitive Hand Reflexology can be performed to target the problematic areas. At the start of the session, your feet will be cleansed and various techniques will be applied to the feet.  Please be aware that as mentioned toxins are being released, drinking water before and after a session is recommended. Also note that running nose, diarrhoea, headaches can be noticed after a treatment and are good signs of healing. The sessions are usually one hour long. If you are a first time visitor please allow an additional 15-20 minutes for the practitioner to do a detailed consultation.

Heel Repair

 

Additionally, we offer a heel repair and foot massage treatment. The session usually lasts about 45-1 hour, depending on the severity of heel and feet's conditions. 

We start by soaking the feet in warm water for about 10-15 minutes, dry and commence with treatment. Please note, you will be required to lie on your stomach during the course of heel repair treatment. Once the practitioner is happy with the results of the heels, you will be asked to turn on your back for the foot massage.

If during the treatment you are feeling discomfort, or the applied pressure is too hard, please communicate to the practitioner, so that pressure can adjust to suit you. Please feel free to ask any questions during treatment.
